Like many of Pat Shand's characters, Cherry is multifaceted. There are things I like about her, things I love about her, and things I dislike about her - there is so much personality there that she feels truly three dimensional. If you like Destiny NY, picking this one up is the easiest decision you can make. If you are new to the world of Destiny NY? It is actually an okay place to hop on, but I think that reading the main series and then moving on the Cherry Gilbert's solo story is the better option. Now I'm kinda waiting for a Meadow solo adventure...
